Arm your vehicle with the Speed Rail Car Mounting Kit designed for the Hydra Predator and other car mounted shock absorbing arms! This kit allows you to build custom speed rail rigs to support various shock absorbing arms in multiple configurations. The kit is built around 6 pieces of speed rail, of two different sizes, that can be used on their own or interconnected to create longer pieces for specific rigging needs. The 4 adjustable mounting clamps allow you to connect the speed rail in almost any configuration. The kit includes 4 high capacity suction cups, each individually rated for 50 kg or around 110lbs. These suction cups connect to the speed rail via adjustable clamps, allowing them to be placed in almost any position in order to accommodate most vehicles easily. Utilizing 4 suction cups allows you to build an incredibly stabile foundation in which to mount shock absorbing arms or other equipment. The included Front Tow Hook Adapter allows you to connect the system to any vehicle that already has that mounting point. which helps create a secure connection that relies on more than just suction.

The shock absorbing arm can dampen vibration on multiple axes and supports up to 66 lbs. The shock absorbing head comes with a DJI Ronin 2 mounting plate which makes this a perfect fit for that gimbal.

Tilta Arm

The system is portable, lightweight, and relatively easy to use for filming vehicles from multiple angles while in movement. Designed specifically for the RS 3 PRO and RS 2, but compatible with a range of gimbals and camera systems such as the Ronin 4D, Ronin MX, Freefly Movi Pro. The lightweight, counterweight-free design makes the system faster to set up and safer to operate as users will only need to focus on one end of the arm at any given time. The Pro Kit includes suction cups, speed rail and ratchet straps allow you to mount the system easily to most vehicles that can support the 176lb weight of the arm not including a gimbal or camera. The Basic Kit will be available in the near future without mounting hardware for users who already own 50mm Speed Rail or who are looking to build their own permanent mount. There are optional suction cup kits for vehicles with various sized sunroofs including panoramic sunroofs and an optional Electronic Kit that allows users to monitor the suction cup pressure remotely for added safety. The Shock Absorbing Arm helps stabilize the gimbal when operating on uneven surfaces and can be adjusted for various payloads. The Shock Absorbing Head of the arm can be individually adjusted for both the horizontal and vertical axis. The included Controller connects via a wired connection ensuring reliable communication to the arm. The Controller gives the operator access to various options for the tilt and pan axis, including speed, dampening, and range of motion limitations for each axis individually. Custom user settings allow the operator to select from a range of configurations so that they can operate in a way that is most comfortable to them. Pro Mode is an expanded control option that allows users to control the Hydra Arm Mini and an RS2/RS3 Pro Gimbal simultaneously through the controller. Please note this is not recommended for most shooting situations and is only advised with proper precautions. The system can support speeds of up to 74 mph (120 km/h) in ideal conditions, but we recommend keeping speeds at or below 37 mph (60km/h) especially when using heavier cameras or lighter gimbals. The primary factors that will impact operating speeds are camera weight, gimbal strength, and weather conditions. Other gimbals can be used as well as long as they can be mounted via 1/4″-20 threads, powered via V-Mount batteries and stay within the 22lb weight limit. The system includes a V-Mount Battery Plate mounted on the end of the arm which allows users to power their gimbal via the included P-Tap to 2 Pin Power Cable or with a different cable if needed. *An optional Gold Mount Battery Plate will be available as an additional purchase in the near future.* The arm itself does not have any power or video passthrough features meaning you will need to utilize a wireless video transmitter (not included) and power your camera via onboard batteries or the Gold/V-Mount battery plate found on the arm. To power the system, you will need a 220V 1800wH+ power source which is NOT INCLUDED. We recommend the EcoFlow Delta and a 110 to 220V Power Converter (3000W+) if needed.

Powered by only four 14.8V V-Mount batteries, the Hydra Slider is incredibly efficient. With four 270Wh (18600mAh) batteries, users can enjoy a full day of shooting without swapping batteries. The Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System is a next generation gimbal support solution for car-mounted cinematography. The system utilizes a highly customizable combination of dovetail-like plates and suction cups that allows users to fine-tune the exact placement of their shot to achieve almost any angle possible when mounting to a vehicle. The newly designed dovetail plates feature retractable safety pins at every position which the arm can be mounted. This drastically improves the safety of the system, especially when adjusting the position of the arm via a new sliding design which makes small adjustments quick and easy. The newly designed shock absorbing arm supports higher payloads up to 28.7lbs and features a motorized shock absorbing head which provides greater stability and uses motors to help stabilize the system similar to a gimbal. ACF-50, Anti-Corrosion Formula, is a state of the art, anti-corrosion/lubricant compound, that has been specifically designed for the Aero Space Industry. Itcan be described as an ultra thin fluid film compound which must be applied on an annual basis. ACF-50 actively penetrates through the corrosion deposits to the base of the cell where it emulsifies and encapsulates the electrolyte, lifting it away from the metal surface. ACF-50 then dispels this moisture and provides an atmospheric barrier which prevents any further moisture contact, thereby keeping the cell inactive. This compound continues to actively penetrate and "creep" into the tightest of seams, lap joints, micro cracks and around rivet heads, dissipating the moisture, even salt water, in these corrosion prone areas. These unique abilities of ACF-50 remain effective for 12 months, gradually disappearing as it is chemically consumed.
